I'm swimming in the ocean, and the waves are out of control. They're crashing every which way, and I seem to be at the confluence of two wave lines crashing into each other at an angle. I'm struggling a little, but my head is clear, and I'm remembering a slogan I heard or just made up, something like "swim into the waves, then swim out of them." As long as I can stay on top of the water, it seems that I have the strength to swim out.

I reach the beach and go under a large pier, like being under a traffic bridge. There is a lifeguard tower there, and somebody begins climbing the ladder, but the waves are attacking the tower with focused aggression. Several other people are standing on the ground there, getting pummeled by the waves. I think I have some radios that might help to resolve the situation.
