I remember running the bases in some baseball-like game, but with five bases arranged in a star, and some particular pattern in which you're supposed to run them. But when I'm running, I can't remember the pattern, so I do my best and then run to home plate, but they tell me I did it wrong and it didn't count.

Then, I apparently have my ex-co-worker Eric moving into a room in my house. He's a hard guy to like or even tolerate - stinky, stupid, often offensive, full of inane stories that he thinks are funny, and no sense of when to stop talking.

He asks me for a towel, and I say sure, and go back to my closet to get one for him, but instead of just letting me go get it, he follows me and then grabs my two best matching towels right off the shelf. I wasn't going to give him the best ones, of course. Then he sees a set of sheets and a comforter, and says he needs some of those too. I joke "what, don't renters come with their own linens?", and start to explain that I don't have enough for him to have some - I only have enough for my own bed and the guest room.

But he reaches up to grab the comforter and sheets off the shelf for himself anyway, and in so doing, fumbles, trips, and drags everything off the shelf onto the floor in a big tumbling mess.

"My, you are clumsy," I say.
