I'm working on a computer, and suddenly I notice the time on the taskbar. It's 9:06 pm, and I had completely lost track of time, I was supposed to go to a play, but it's too late now.

I get up, and it's like I'm in the kitchen at my parents', and somebody is listening to music on a small, crackly transistor radio. I pick up one of my acoustic guitars and start playing a quiet accompaniment to the radio, just jamming along with whatever is playing. Gradually it fades out, and I am the only one playing. Whoever was listening to the radio looks up, and I explain that I didn't do anything, it just stopped like that by itself.

I'm plucking the low strings on the guitar, and the sound is quite distorted. I think it shouldn't do that, it isn't right, but damn it does sound good.
