I've just arrived home to my house (perhaps returning from Hong Kong, where I am in real life). The living room is nearly empty. Alona sits on a small couch in the far corner, under the window, watching TV. The room seems bigger than usual, and I wonder what happened to my couch. It's over on the other side, in the corner nearest the kitchen. I'm a little bothered that Alona has rearranged things.

Then I notice that there are pins all over the carpet, the little silver ones with colored heads, hundreds of them. I'm concerned about them getting in the dogs' paws. They are everywhere, all over the room. I ask Alona, and she says she doesn't know, they just fell there or something. But then I notice that the pins aren't just one the carpet, they are part of an overlay that has been laid on the carpet, that she put there. I pull back the overlay of pins, which Alona apparently placed there and then lied about, and I get really mad and start yelling at her.
