I'm spending the evening with my old flame Jackie. She's upset or something, even though it's the only night we have together. As she gets up, she drops something and it hits the top of this glass table. A little of it breaks, but I try to reassure her that it's not a big deal. Then I lift up something that was on the table, and realize that half of the top has been shattered to bits, it's much worse than I thought, it's ruined.
