I'm in a large store, like a Fred Meyer, and I have one thing in my hand that I want to buy, possibly a bottle of Diet Coke. I go to the register, but there is a long line. I don't really want to stand in that line just for this one thing, but I think that maybe past the line there is another register somewhere. I try to get past the line, but they think I'm trying to cheat somehow and chastise me, while I try to explain that I'm not trying to get ahead in the line, just to go past it.

I end up outside, and it's like JcPenney's at the mall. There's a brick wall and a big glass door, and a huge black bear is raging up against the wall, roaring and baring his fangs, like he's attacking. I think that he's really hungry, practically starving, and that any person will seem like food to him. I'm the only person around, but he doesn't seem to notice me.
