I'm in New York, though it isn't like the real New York. I'm supposed to meet somebody somewhere, but I'm not sure where I am. I start walking down the street, downhill, but I'm not at street level, I'm up a floor or two as if walking inside the buildings along the street.

Looking down, I see all these shrines in the street, little decorative buildings like caskets, forming a line all down the middle of the road. They are a permanent feature of this street. I've been here before; now I know where I am. I meet my friends in some building at the end of the street.
