I'm in the kitchen at my parents', working on some giant shrimp at the chopping block, peeling off their shells and taking the meat out. They're more like lobster tails in size and shape. I'm showing my dad how to break them at the body, clean off the little legs, and pull the meat out in one steak. Then, to look at where the poop-vein goes, and pull it out if it looks dark - but on this one, it looks empty, I wouldn't bother.

Then I cut one up and eat it, and it tastes really good. But aren't there more, I ask my mom, didn't we cut up a few? Yes, she put them in the fridge. So I find another and eat it.
