I'm on a business trip somewhere distant, being driven to some office by a colleague or associate. As we're driving, like the distributors I often deal with, they are asking me what I'm working on, and if there are any components I'm currently seeking.

I mention that I need a switch of some sort, and they give me this big crazy thing, like a long bar with a number of switch elements along it. It's not at all what I was looking for, but they give me a whole box of them.

They drop me off at my destination, an unfamiliar office building, and then drive off without giving me my luggage, the leather bag that Steve brought me from India that I use for short trips. I get really mad at them about that - they left me here with nothing to do except... to play with this switch, with all its little snappy moving parts, which are actually kind of fun to fidget with.
