I find my former dog Charlie; he's running around loose in a neighborhood, apparently having escaped from his new home. He is very energetic and excited, and won't settle down even when I put him in the car to take him home. It seems like he wants to get away, or just to run around.

I get in the car and manage to prevent him jumping out, and then I start to pull out from the driveway into the street but then stop because a car is coming, but it's not a car, it's a motorcycle, or a three-wheeled motorcycle, or some small vehicle like a motorized rickshaw. Seeing me starting to pull out, he stops suddenly, but a large vehicle behind him doesn't stop or even slow down, and I watch as it strikes the smaller vehicle and smashes it, pieces flying everywhere. The driver is lying dead in the road, and emergency vehicles arrive instantly, while I'm still trying to pull out and turn into the road, and I think what horror it is to have to drive past the dead body, but by the time I get there, just about 30 feet down the road, everything is already cleaned up, like nothing ever happened.
