I'm at this house high on a hill in the city, which seems familiar for some earlier dream. It's unique in that there is a really steep part on the road up to there, completely vertical. If you drive it, you feel like the car is going to tumble completely backward, but somehow it doesn't. I'm not driving, however, I'm walking, and somebody is leading me, but we get to that part and I say no, I'm not going down that way, it's too steep. There is another way but apparently it's a long way around.

So I'm back at my house, looking down over my back yard, which is very steep. Crossing the steep terrain are several flat areas, as though roads pass across the yard. Three of my friends, all of them black people who are unfamiliar, are down in the yard, each standing on one of the strips looking up at me.

I start throwing candy rings down to them, the little jelly candies that are usually peach-flavored and coated in sugar. I fling them down for them to catch them, and some they get, some they don't.

Then my friends are gone, and I go down there in the yard to find the remaining candy rings that they didn't get. The yard under the trees is kind of a mess. There is all this colorful junk under there. I think my decorating scheme isn't working; it was supposed to be colorful eggs and toys, but it looks like just a mess that needs to be cleaned up.
