I'm in my bed, or sitting on it. A kitten wanders in through door, open to the outside. The door shouldn't be open, she shouldn't have been let in, but it's ok for the moment because she's friendly and I'm happy to pet her.

My stepdaughter Alona comes in with this small brown bird, puts it on the bed, and starts cutting its throat with a knife. It is peeping calmly, like "cheep cheep", in very quiet little sets of two until the blood starts coming out of its neck, and the peeping stops. It spills blood all over the bed, and I'm wondering if Alona is going to clean it up.
