School Rock TrailfritzDec 21, 2016

It's the last day of school, and I've just finished my last test. Finally I have some free time to take a walk. There's a large woods attached to one side of the campus, and a trail going through it that I have always wanted to walk, but the whole time I have been in school, I haven't had time, so this is my chance.

I walk along the trail quite a ways into the woods, pondering how long it is, and where it might end up. I come to this rock face to the left of the trail, composed of a crumbling shale, and a number of students sitting on it in various places, or picking around among the loose stones.

I think about climbing up on top of it, where one might sit and have a smoke, but I think that would bother the other people.

A girl comes up the trail and starts talking to me. She is a little bit heavy and not very pretty, but I like the way she talks, very intelligently, and using big words. Especially this one word she uses which I don't recall, but it seemed a very European usage.

She explains to me that the students are looking for these special rocks, like some sort of agate, that can sometimes be found here. A girl finds one back in the cracks of the rocks and pulls it out, saying "oh look, I found one" and showing everybody.

Then we start walking further along the trail, myself and the girl, and she has her hand in my pocket, and starts feeling around my junk. But then it isn't her, it's somebody inappropriate, so I have to pull their hand out of my pants and push it away.
