Alien InvasionfritzJan 30, 2017

I'm outside at night, standing on a small hill in a city, with random people around. Somebody, I think one of my brothers, runs up to me and says "Did you see that? It was a..." some word that I can't remember, but I don't think it was a real word, and he is indicating something in the sky. I look up and see a star-like object that streaks across the starscape almost too quickly to even track with the eye, and doesn't go in a straight line, it wiggles on its path as it passes, and disappears over the horizon. I see it only very briefly. It comes back within a handful of seconds, but this time somebody interrupts me and I miss it, and this makes me mad. But the next time, I get a good look. Yes it is one of those. It's very rare, and concerning.

Then all these helicopters show up in the sky, like an alien invasion. They look like helicopters, but they aren't, I notice they move too quickly and silently. They don't look exactly like helicopters either, more like an 8-bit version of a helicopter, made out of large blocks in flat colors. There are different sizes of them, buzzing all over the sky.

I start running away through the streets of the city. I pick up something off the ground, which I think is one of the alien things, maybe a carryable-sized version of the helicopters, a little smaller than a toaster. But then the ones in the sky seem to be following me, making me think they are tracking this object I have, so I throw it up on top of a one-story structure, perhaps a dumpster or something, and run away from it, down a street and around a corner.

But there on the street I am captured by a girl. She looks like a human girl, but she's dressed in a black shiny suit, and she's one of the aliens, or on their side. I'm not sure how she controls me, but she starts leading me somewhere, up this steep street.

Suddenly I stop and ask her "are you just taking me somewhere to kill me?"

"Yes," she says, turning to look me impassively in the eyes.

We pause there for several seconds, looking directly at each other. Then she says "Haha, I'm just kidding. We're not going to kill you."

"That was close," I say, "you shouldn't do that. I could very well have reached out and killed you right there with a strike to the throat."
