Wrong Way to Siberian HuskiesfritzJan 31, 2017

I'm riding in the back seat of a car, passenger side, driven by my sister Leah. There is a girl sitting on the seat in front of me, almost in my lap, and I have my hands lovingly around her neck. She's a foreigner, and she's leaving soon. I'm thinking about how I will miss her, but I will date other girls.

I doze off momentarily, and when I wake up we're driving someplace unfamiliar. It's very woodsy and overgrown, like on a mountain camping road. "Hey, where are we?" I ask.

"Oh, sorry," says Leah, "I totally forgot the girls weren't with us."

I joke with my girl that I blink my eyes for one second and we're going the wrong way.

It seems we are driving as if into Newberg from Portland, and took an early turn to the South before coming into town. She turns around in a driveway on the left, making a rather sharp slide that takes her into the lawn, and I'm concerned that we're leaving behind some damage to the grass. There is a slight hill in the lawn, where three unusually large dogs are play-fighting, paying us no attention. Siberian Huskies, I think.
