Huge Library and Swimming PlansfritzSep 3, 2017

I'm in this huge room that is mostly a museum, like an old library with ancient relics and several rows of huge old books. I find the biggest book, which is like three feet tall and six inches thick, and I pull it out and look at it. It's an account of a court case, with detailed laws and arguments and many photos.

I find another book, also old, and the size of a large dictionary. It's something about the Bible, some sort of study on the subject, but the binding is all wrecked and the book is falling apart. I look through it and find it really interesting, and pick up my phone to see if I can buy the same book on Amazon or somewhere, hopefully in better condition.

I'm interrupted by my companions who are making a plan for the day. It's our last day in this place, so we want to make the best of it. We're sitting at a huge oak table in the library, discussing it, but at some point we're also driving around, in this desert area, where they are in the process of constructing this huge wooden stage they call the "environmental stage", but everybody jokes about the damage to the environment they are doing by building it. It is presently all framed up in raw wood, a huge flat floor where the audience would be, and an arch and stage for some performers.

Anyway there is something we have to see today, and then we're going to go for a swim. I ask if my friends, who appear to be about two dark-complexion, perhaps Latino ladies, if they'd like to go float down this river that we floated on before, but they say it was too cold. They suggest perhaps this other river place that is warmer, but I say we should go to the sea. The sea is more rare, I say, the coastlines in the world are so limited. And down there you can rent scuba and snorkeling gear too, so we should go there today.
