I'm eating some chicken, cut in pieces, and it has some sand in it that keeps crunching when I chew. Ouch, that feeling! I wash the chicken, but I still can feel some sand in it.

(Just went to the beach with Vera last weekend... told her the story of going to the beach with Kiersten when I was in high school, and getting sand in the chicken. Though that was fried chicken, and this doesn't even seem to be cooked.)
