Migraine DrivingfritzOct 23, 2017

I wake up with a migraine headache (true to life, I'm in bed with a migraine), and decide to drive to Washington Square, I think to get some food, maybe just to get out. It's night. All goes fine until I get in the parking lot, in the lower floor of the parking building. Then suddenly I have terrible tunnel vision. In my rear view mirror, the back window looks a very long ways away, and I can't see around the pillars in all directions. I'm not sure how it usually works, normally I have very good visibility, but now I can't tell what's around me at all. I try to pull into a parking space, in a place where there are no cars around and large margins for error, but still I'm bracing for an impact.

I get stopped but I decide I should go home. I drive out and somehow end up on this narrow one-lane road that dead-ends at a stairway. I look it over; surely my truck could drive down the stairway just fine, but I'm worried that the stairs would be damaged. I have no choice but to back up all the way back to the parking lot, which I do with some difficulty.

Then I see my dogs are running around in the parking lot, along the strip of shrubbery over by the road. And there's another dog with them who is not familiar. I call them back, to get in the truck so we can go home.
