I'm at a park where there are alligators. I'm on a grassy hill on the shore, looking into the brown murky water. I see one or two of them, drifting close enough to the surface to see their outlines, and point them out to my nephews, who are there with me - "ohh look guys, there is an alligator - and look over there, another one!"

Then I'm down by the waterside, with my toes almost in the water. An alligator is lunging toward my feet on the shore, trying to take a bite, and I'm trying to back away out of his range, but I can't, I'm frozen and can't move. Luckily he misses the bite, twisting his body so I catch a glimpse of the light underside of his jaw, but still I can't seem to escape.
