I'm at a Marilyn Manson concert, in a dark building like the Roseland. Somehow I got a special pass where I can go into a privileged area, so I'm exploring. There are a few people sitting around, and I'm checking the view of the stage. It seems kind of far away, and you have to be in a certain position to see it, but it does seem like a pretty good view. I see "Marilyn" singing on the stage.

Then he is back in the area where I am, and I greet him and say hello. We chat for a while, not sure about what; he seems very friendly and surprisingly normal (on stage he usually seems to be drunk).

After he wanders off to mingle and watch the show, it occurs to me that I should have taken a selfie with him. I think we did take a picture before, but we both had ICP-style clown makeup on, so I want one with our real faces. Marilyn doesn't look anything like his real self, just a regular sandy-haired guy.

He's sitting alone in a booth, watching the concert sort of over his shoulder, so I ask him, addressing him as Brian without thinking about it (his real name is Brian Warner) and then wondering if that seems pretentious or something to address him that way. We pose for a selfie.
