I'm at Vera's apartment. Just for a special something, I went up to the market and got two live animals to butcher and eat. They were chickens, I thought, or... something else? We gutted them and ate the insides, though I don't specifically remember that part. Then they're like dead cats, whole but gutted, on the floor in her kitchen, and it's my job to discard the carcasses. I'm not sure what to do with them, and I think I'm asking Vera about that, but I think I can just take them out to the dumpster. I pick them up by their back legs to take them out, but then one of them starts twitching and moving, and I realize it's still alive. It gets up and staggers into the living room, and into the hallway and towards Victoria's room, leaving drops of pee in its path. I'm not sure how it can be alive with all its guts removed, or how it could be retaining any urine. But now I'm trying to figuring out the fastest way to kill it, to put it out of its misery.
