I'm playing baseball, like in a sandlot, with my family. I've gotten myself over to first base, and waiting for the next hitter to get me to third. The diamond is arranged such that first, second, and third base are all in a straight line across the diamond.

Somebody throws the ball to second base, where I think Dave is playing defense, but overthrows him and the ball falls to the ground on the baseline between first and second. I start to steal - it's close but Dave is the only one who could get the ball, so all I have to do is get past the ball before he gets to it, but then I get to the ball, and decide in this casual game just to give him back the ball and go back to first. I pick up the ball and start to throw it to him on second, but it's like a cannonball, almost too heavy to throw. I have to give it a really good heave just to get it there.

The only other thing I remember is that I was stranded, the inning ended before I got to another base.
