Spiders of GoofritzApr 22, 2018

I'm in an unfamiliar city, as if traveling. Somebody drops me off, asking if I know where I'm going, and I have a walking plan, to pass through this area shown as an "area of interest" on the Google map, where I can probably get something to eat.

I walk down this alley where I see these interesting creatures, which at first look like spiky balls, but I can see inside that they are large tan-colored spiders, hidden in these spiky shells. When you scare or startle them, they turn to a gooey liquid, but then after a few minutes they turn back into spiders.

Using my phone, I try to take a photo or movie of them turning to goo and back, but most of them are under the water, and I'm looking for one out on the land because the photography will be more clear, but I can't find one out there. I try to photograph one in the water, but in the process of exchanging things in my hands, I drop my phone into the water.

I pick it out really quickly and shake the water off it. It seems to be working, but I keep it off to dry out. It was my only source of guidance, so now I'm not sure how to get back to my hotel. It might be dry enough, so I turn it on for just a second and see a highly-zoomed picture of a google map, so I think it's still working, but I should let it dry out some more.
