I'm driving my truck at night, with a couple of passengers, and I seem to be a little bit drunk. I think we're looking for this beach or something, but we come to the end of the road. I have to turn around, but it's difficult to see where the road is because of thick ivy on every side, and not much room to turn around.

I start the many-point turn, inching back and forth in my truck, and then feeling completely blind, I get out and go around to the back of the truck to see how much room I have. Just past a few feet of ivy on the end is a huge drop-off, hundreds of feet, and we almost just drove off it. That scares me.

We manage to get out of there anyway and find the beach, where we walk for a while, but I remember it's a special day, like New Year's Day or something, and I want to be with Vera so I text her that I'll be coming over before midnight.
