I'm with Vera at the doctor, in an unusually spacious examination room. The doctor is telling her that she isn't ready for our relationship, she should have had more time since parting from her previous husband. But, I explain, sure we could take a year or two off, but (and I start to get teary-eyed), that would mean fewer years we could spend together in my lifetime.
