I'm at my house on Garden Home Road, and the Comcast guy has just arrived to service the internet. His truck is out in the front driveway, but he doesn't come in, just sits there in his truck doing some sort of paperwork. This goes on for 10 or 15 minutes while I wait impatiently, in that sort of awkward way when somebody has arrived but hasn't quite arrived yet, and you obviously see each other but you can't really greet them yet.

Finally he comes into the house, but before he gets to looking at the internet problem, Mark presents him with a card; apparently they know each other and Mark owed him some appreciation. The Comcast guy sits down and reads the card, and just sort of hangs out, while I wait for him to work on the internet. But while waiting, I realize I can't remember exactly what the problem was - something with the wireless networking? I guess when he's ready, we'll just have to try it and see what happens. But it'll be kind of awkward if it just works.
