I just got off the bus and I'm walking in Southeast Portland, going northward toward the band house, with my band mates from Handstand Skeleton. I forgot what a long walk it is from the bus stop, we have to walk halfway across the city it seems.

There is this house we have to go through, I think as a shortcut. We go into the house, which is dusty and abandoned, and we go through a few different rooms until we come to the far wall, where there's this very claustrophobic hole we have to climb through, and up the wall. But there's another route off to the left, where we can climb through a window and down this wrought-iron-topped fence. It seems like a new way to try, so we slip out onto the top of the fence, where we're stopped by a security guard on the sidewalk who wants to know what we're doing, and we're sort of embarrassed, but hey, it's the easiest way through, what's wrong with it? I don't think he lets us get down from the fence.
