Metallica's lead singer (*) is at my work, apparently involved in some professional project. But it seems like he will jam with me, so I start setting up some amps on the roof (it's the old building, where Audio Precision used to be in the early 90's), which seems to be covered in a big black plastic sheet. But there's no power outlet up there, which seems to be a problem until somebody says we can just run an extension cord from the building below.

I make some sort of joke that even if Hetfield doesn't join us, I really just want to jam out with an amp on the roof.

(*) his name is James Hetfield, but this wasn't mentioned in the dream. When I awakened, I couldn't remember his name at all, which is weird because I would have usually recalled this easily, I would think. I had to look it up.
