I'm at work, but it doesn't look like my regular work. It's spacious, white, and empty, like we're just starting to get set up. The only objects I remember are empty desks and tables.

My boss Tony from many years ago comes up and hands me something, saying "here is your new 'scope" (referring to an oscilloscope, the most common instrument for electrical engineers). But I'm confused, because it doesn't look like a real scope. It's the general shape of the Tektronix "pac-man" scopes, but it's all made of white molded plastic, even where the electronic parts would be, like it's some sort of model. I think it's a joke and sort of laugh, but Tony seems serious. Then I think maybe it's a frame that needs some electrical parts added and I don't really want to shop around or pay for them, so I decline. I already have a good scope. He doesn't seem to understand why I'm arguing over getting a new scope.
