I pull up in my car, and park in a church parking lot, out in the country, as if out in Yamhill County. It's early in the evening, and I just decided for no reason, I had nothing else to do, I should go to the church Youth Group.

The church is down the hill from the parking lot, hidden from view in a grove of trees, and I think I might be late, but there is another guy walking down from the lot, so I figure it's ok. But I see that guy coming back up, and another person ambling up as well, so I think maybe the door is locked, and there is no church this evening, so I start back toward my car.

Then a whole crowd comes up from the church, and I conclude that they just decided that since the weather is so nice, they'll just have church outside. I start walking loosely with the crowd, until I notice a couple guys looking at a phone, and talking about football. Oh yeah, I realize, it's Thursday, so there's football game on. I'd rather watch the game, so I amble back to my car, and wait for everyone to pass through the parking lot before slipping away.
