Festival of TupperwarefritzOct 21, 2019

I'm in India, at a festival that I identify as Diwali, but I think it's actually more like Durga Puja. I'm in a crowd of people, at night, and I lost my tupperware. I see somebody holding it over their head, so I think if I get up on the hill (although it's an urban area, there's about a 30-foot mound up behind me) I'll be able to see it. The crowd is a little thinner up there, and I can see everybody, but now they're all holding tupperware over their heads so I can't tell which one is mine.

I walk down and around this corner where there is no crowd, and I'm mostly alone, but I'm thinking to myself how Diwali has become sinister; it didn't used to be like that. There's a hobo-looking guy crossing the plaza in the opposite direction as me, but he keeps coming closer to me, which is sort of threatening. I greet him, and try to defuse the tension, but he just gets more and more agitated, pulling out a short knife and threatening to cut me on the back of the neck.
