Walking in the Wrong GardenfritzOct 26, 2019

I'm walking alone in this suburban neighborhood, and looking at all the pretty flowers in their yards. This one house, I walk all the way up their path through their front yard, almost to their door, which seems like someplace I shouldn't really be, but I don't think anybody really minds, I'm just looking at the flowers.

I get back out to the street and on the other side I recognize the house where this kid lives that I know. I've been writing emails, encouraging these kids to do well in school, and this is one of them. I think maybe I should play a trick by leaving a flower in a conspicuous place, and then pretending to be God by telling him to look for a sign of a flower. That's a silly and slightly creepy idea; I not going to do that. But I go back into that same yard to find a flower to leave in the kids yard anyway.

As I'm walking there, a police van pulls up, and I'm apparently in trouble. They think I'm robbing the place. Of course, I am not, and I think that will be obvious when they take a look around. They're loading some stuff into their van. The suggestion is made that they might plant some drugs to get me into trouble. But I'm pretty sure I'll be vindicated in the end.

Later I'm in the back seat of a car, with two young girls in the front. We drive across this bridge which has no road on top of it - it's just the pillars, as if it isn't finished. I don't understand how we can just drive across it. But they explain that it's a new minimalist bridge, they calculated how far apart the pillars can be and how far your front wheels will fall from one to the next, so that you can't fall off it. Pretty neat!
