I seem to be home, sitting on the black leather couch. I pick up a guitar, intending to play a chord progression that I have in my head, that starts with Am, then G and F. But when I put my fingers on the guitar, it's not the right chord. My mind is kind of muddy and hazy, sort of like being drunk, but I think (or say), still, I can play an Am chord no matter how drunk I might be. I look at the guitar, where my fingers are, but I can't make sense of it. There are too many strings, and I don't know which are which.

With a closer look, I notice that there are actually a number of extra strings on the guitar, and I remember that not too long ago I loaned it to my brother-in-law Frank, and apparently while he had it, he added some extra strings, just strung along with the normal ones. I wonder if it's been changed somehow, but I think I can just take the extra strings off.
