I'm outside in a wild place with trees and open space. There are a few of these huge animals, larger than elephants, but they seem to be some kind of seals. They are pretty scary.

We (probably me and Vera) run over to my truck and start to get in, as this park ranger follows a couple of steps behind. We get into our seats, but one of these seals attacks the park ranger just as she's trying to scramble into the drivers' side door. The creature pounds her head into the dashboard, her skull crushed in an instant in a wash of blood. Her body falls out onto the ground as I try to drive my truck away quickly, but something is in my way preventing me from pushing the pedals.
