Fireworks and ChihuahuafritzJun 26, 2020

I'm up high, on some sort of platform overlooking a pool, or more like several pools that are connected together like on a resort. It's dusk, and fireworks show is just starting overhead. As soon as it starts, I throw several partially-inflated air mattresses down into the pools, and then climb down as if I'm intending to inflate them and then chill out and enjoy the fireworks show.

But I have to go around to the other pool, and to do this I have to go outside the wall of the pool complex and walk up this path. It didn't seem like the walk would be this long, just to get from one pool to the other. I'm missing the show; perhaps this wasn't a good plan to wait until it started to prepare. The paved path, as if through a park between two city roads, and with tall pine trees overhead, gets steeper and steeper until my face is near to the ground in front of me.

Suddenly a tiny chihuahua jumps out from behind a bush and starts barking right in my face. The owner at the other end of the leash pulls him back and apologizes, but I say no, it's my fault, I should know better than to stick my face right into a chihuahua.
