Vera and I are in Ukraine, as if staying in a vacation house, and apparently by coincidence Natasha and Alona are staying in the downstairs part of the house, separate from the upstairs where we are. There are just a couple days of overlap, as we are leaving and they arriving.

Natasha desperately wants me to look at something, and summons me to their apartment. I resist, but she is insistent, and distraught. It's something in the news I'm supposed to look at, so I say I don't have my laptop, I'll go get it. But she says it's on every channel, just turn on the TV. There is a bigscreen TV in their room, so I turn it on.

The news is indeed on every channel that the wild animals have turned against the humans, basically all over the planet. There is one video showing somebody in the surf, surrounded by sharks and other sea creatures, attacking. There's another video I don't remember. At first I try to assure Natasha that it's just a couple of videos, it's nothing to worry about. But the news reports clarify that it is real, the animals are after us.
