Beach Radio LossfritzSep 25, 2020

I'm at the beach, sitting on a small cliff, just a couple feet high above the water. There are people lined up all along this cliff, packed towel to towel. I'm playing with a radio, one of my favorites, the SPARC . I decide to jump in for a swim.

The water is surprisingly warm; I expected it to be brutally cold, isn't this the Oregon coast? But it's really comfortable, and I enjoy a nice swim, along with a number of others who are swimming too. But the water has receded a bit, making the cliff back up to the towels just a little too high to climb back up there; from the water, it's a couple fee above our heads. People are sitting all along the cliff, their legs dangling down. I need to try to get back up, but first I need to find the spot where my towel is, which I can't seem to locate. My sister Keta is here somewhere, isn't she still with my towel?

I'm not sure what happens then, but later we are back at a beach house, and my radio is missing. I think I left it back on the beach, I don't remember retrieving it from there, and I lament its loss, because I really liked that radio. Keta says yeah, she saw it, and she threw it away in the ocean or somewhere. She didn't realize it was mine and she'd heard conspiracy theories on social media about radios so she didn't want it around.
