Gun GatheringfritzOct 14, 2020

I'm going to a gun rally, in an area that looks like the hill in Tigard, where the movie theater is. I seem to live around the bottom of that hill, and my friends Mark and Scott are with me. They ask me to pick up some food for them, and we have a brief discussion about which is better (or which is worse), Shari's or Denny's. I prefer Shari's, and that's where I intend to eat. But Scott and Mark each request something from different restaurants.

So out I go, up the hill, carrying two pistols and a rifle, just all of them clumsily in my hands. The crowd becomes thicker, with people wandering here and there, everybody carrying weapons. I see Kyle, the kid from Kenosha. Although I don't see any flags or emblems, it's apparent that this is a gathering of righties, and I have to be careful. I watch how they are holding their rifles and try to hold mine the same way, but it's difficult with these pistols as well.

I go into the Denny's, and before I can even sit down, the waitress tells me that I can't bring my guns in there. I ask if I can just leave them outside and order some food to go. She says no, that would put them at risk for some crime relating to concealing weapons. So I leave the restaurant.

Just outside the restaurant, I'm interrupted by a stranger from the crowd, perhaps Kyle. He asks me about my guns, and I set them down on a park bench and start showing him. He says he especially admires the Ruger, the rifle, and he picks it up and starts looking it over. Then he just walks off with it.

I gather up the pistols and start trying to find the guy. I consider what I will do when I find him. I guess I will have to confront him. With guns.
