Runaway Van and Difficult TraileringfritzOct 18, 2020

I'm in a van, in the second row seat, when it starts rolling forward, down a hill on a city street. I start to jump up to the controls, but for some reason it seems like there's nothing I can do. Less than a block down, the street ends in a T, and on the other side is a restaurant with outside tables, which the van crashes into. It didn't have much chance to gain momentum, so it just gets tangled up with the tables, and stops. Then I check, and find that the parking brake wasn't set. Hmm, I guess I could have jumped up and set the brake.

Then I'm driving a huge truck with a long trailer. The only way I can go is forward, and make a turn to the right. Then there is no place to turn around, I can only keep going forward. I end up having to go through this very tight spot that the trailer barely fits through, which of course restricts my ability to turn, but after that is a wide area of grass where I have to turn to the right, and I'm not quite sure if the trailer is swinging out too much. Then I have to go up a narrow dirt road in the trees, where I go around a corner and then I can't go forward any more. I have to back down to the wide grassy area and turn around there. But I'm stuck in this corner, can't even see the back of my trailer. I'm trying to think of what the strategy should be - basically, just try to reverse how I got here?
