I just got this brand new lawn mower, of a regular push type. It's neon green, the color of some Ryobi machines I've bought in recent months. When I first try to fire it up, it doesn't work. But I know how to fix it, it just needs an adjustment here and there, on all four corners near the wheels, and little of this and that. I seem rather proud of myself for being able to figure out how to fix it.

Then I give it a pull to start it, and something goes terribly wrong, the motor starts pulling itself into the middle of itself and melting. I try to turn it off real fast, but I don't know how, I pull the wrong lever on the handle and a few other things before I get it stopped. But by that point it is apparent that the mower is ruined, and I wonder if I can return it to the store for a refund.
