Sneaky WavefritzApr 24, 2021

I'm at a beach, which seems dark, but not cold. I'm talking about going swimming, even though it is extremely windy, almost gale-force winds, but very consistent.

Suddenly a sneaker wave hits the beach, and reaches far up into the sand, even though it is only a couple of inches deep. It is unexpected but doesn't seem particularly dangerous, and then we remember that our group - I believe, including my mother - were sitting on the beach with all our stuff, in an area that was probably completely washed over, so we run quickly back down the beach to where they were. Indeed they got hit with the wave, and all the stuff is buried in the sand. We wade into the water and dig in the sand to get it, and it's like an elevator; we are at least ten feet down from the surface, watching the water and sand recede, depositing our things.
