I'm at a river. Some people are fishing, but they aren't doing it very well, they're just drooping their lines in the water, and they don't even know if there are fish there. I tell them I am about to go snorkeling and I can tell them if there are fish. Some other kids are riding by on inner tubes, one of whom is wearing my mask and snorkel, just on his head like he might use it later, and I stop him and ask if I can have my gear back, and he takes it off and gives it to me.

I don't have much time I really want to take underwater pictures, but the camera batteries are dead. I take 2 AA batteries out of it, and I have two fresh ones, but it seems to require 4 C batteries, which I don't have. I'm turning it around trying to figure out what is going on, and on a different side is a compartment where the AA batteries go. Apparently it can take either kind.
