I'm with Vera, looking out the window of our house, but its view is as if looking from my parents' barn out into the oval above the pond. We're watching as several dogs play there, and also a coyote watches from a few feet away.

The Vera sits down on this couch and I quickly try to stop or warn her because I set several open cups of liquid out there, on the arm of the couch and various other surfaces, and I don't want her to knock them over. But she jumps up, and I think knocks one over or almost does, and this makes me irrationally angry. I start yelling at her, and she yells back at me (an incident which has never happened in real life) for a few minutes.

Later the police show up at our house, I think because of the disturbance, though now the location is normal. I can see the blue and red lights flashing as they pull up and stop out in the driveway. I tell Vera that I'll go out and talk to them, and tell them that everything is ok, but she doesn't want me to. We're both afraid that they will just shoot me. So we go back in the bedroom and climb into bed, waiting for them. "That's them, they're coming" I say as I see their blue and red lights in the hallway, and awaken petrified.
