Fire in the Red RoomfritzNov 27, 2021

I'm at my parents', in the room at the end of the hall that was my bedroom as a child, and later became the pool room. Apparently I am sleeping in there, with Vera and Amber. I am thinking about Amber and how much I love her and life in general and I start to cry, putting my face down into a crevice as if of a couch. Vera comes over and rubs my back, and then asks me if we can "just put the tip in", I guess to make me feel better, but it doesn't seem like a good situation. Amber is awake, standing up holding onto something, the door is open to the hall, and Victoria is pacing on the stairs. I tell Vera, who now has the appearance of Rimli, that I'll go check out what is going on around the house and be right back.

I go into the red room at the end of the hall. There is a beautiful wood table in the room, on which are several objects that seem to be having some sort of electrical disturbance. I can hear them vibrating, and there is smoke emanating from a watch that is on the table. I grab the watch and swish it back and forth on the table, like as if to keep it from sticking or something, and then pick up another object, which is the shape of a shoe, perhaps like an insole, but at least partially made of metal. It immediately sticks magnetically to the zipper of my sweatshirt, with such a strong bond that I can't separate them. Carrying this object still stuck to the zipper, I rush down the hall and into the dining room. My dad is sitting on the couch directly across from the door, and I show him this magnet thing and say I can't pull it off, but then it turns out to be not so strong, or I just didn't pull hard enough; this time I manage to separate them. But I tell him there is something going on in the redroom, look there is smoke coming from a furnace register that is high on the wall by the door (not accurate to real life).

Then I run back into the red room and now there is a small fire on the table. My nephew Noah is standing with his back to it, not paying any attention, and I say hey we have to put this fire out. I try to blow it out, but it doesn't go out. There is some piece of cloth nearby on a chair, and I apologize to it (like 'sorry I have to do this to you, it's an emergency') as I put it quickly over the fire to smother it.
