I'm coasting, with this group of people, on these boards with wheels on the bottom, down a hill on a paved road. We stop and gather at this large turnout, and I see Jacki, my girlfriend 20 years ago or so. She looks older, and I have no feelings for her. She walks past me in the opposite direction I am going, about 10 or 15 feet away, and we don't acknowledge each other.

I get back on my board, but this time instead of sitting on it, I lie down on my stomach. It's kind of scary, having my face that close to the ground, and when you ride that way you can't stop, you just have to accept however fast you're going.
