I'm in a foreign country, ostensibly Thailand, and it's my last night here.
I'm in a shopping district along a waterway, and a young woman offers me a free ride on a large boat. She sees my camera and says that it would be cool to have some pictures of their boat under way, and I say I'd be happy to take some pictures.
So I go on the boat ride, which is very fast and fun. It's not just a boat, it has a trailer, where I'm riding. Later in the ride I remember I'm supposed to take some pictures for them, so I go to the window, hang out of it a little bit, and try to take pictures along the side. But it depends which way the boat is going; if it turns the other way, I can't see anything, so I have to go over to the other side of the boat.
After the ride is over, I try to find the people and thank them for the free ride (no mention of the photographs), but it seems too complicated and it would probably just be annoying, so I just disembark and go wandering in the shops, looking for my traveling companions.
My sister Keta is sitting in an eating booth along the walkway, and I greet her. I ask her where she thinks she is, being somehow slightly aware that she might be in a different dream. I need to figure out when we're leaving tomorrow. Keta answers with the name of a city in India, and turns into my sister-in-law Rimli. At one of the shops is some unique shiny food set out and I'm curious about it but not sure how to eat it, until a pretty girl comes by, as if she knows what she's doing, picks up a tortilla from the table and scoops some of the bright stuff into it. Oh, so that's how you do it!
