I'm on a bus, with rows of seats like an airplane. I've got two magazines: one is a big name like "Glamour", the other is something-mp3, kind of modern. I think they might be pornographic, so I set them on the floor and start flipping through them, both simultaneously.

Suddenly I hear footsteps behind me; I had thought I was alone, but in some sense I'm at work. I quickly kick the magazines backward under the seats and they slide along the floor. The person who arrives is a non-descript co-worker, and we chat for a minute or two, and then I have to find the magazines on the floor, basically to get rid of the evidence.

The bus turns out to be a city bus, and more people are getting on. I'm going "over the hill" to the train station, where Steve and I are setting off on a trip, though I think we will get to the train station early, and have some time to wander around.

I start talking to someone in the seat in front of me, first in German, then in mixed German and English. We're talking about these magazines, and I start to give him the mp3 one. He asks what language it is in, and I admit I didn't notice. I open it up, and tell him that it's "Rooski".

We've reached the apex of the hill, a sunny park. I pull my camera from my right hand pocket and am trying to photograph the park, the bus, and a small stone sign reading "Burlington Street", embedded into the hill in the side of the road. I'm trying to take pictures from the moving bus, and get a reasonable focus by pressing the button halfway and waiting, then pressing it all the way. I get a great picture of the sunny woods and the sign, but I'm suspicious that I can't really tell if it's out of focus because of the tiny LCD, so I zoom all the way in on the words in the street name. Sure enough, they are perfectly clear. Rimli is there with Steve, so I show it to her.
