Reverse Pullup for Amber | | fritz | Sep 6, 2022 | I walking along the side of a road, carrying my little daughter Amber. The way gets steeper and I find myself at the top of about a 10-foot cliff that I have to climb down if I am to proceed. Vera is down below, at road level, but too far away to help, and I'm not sure how I can climb down with Amber in my hands.
There is a pole there, and I calculate that I can get down by holding Amber with my left arm, and doing a reverse pullup with my right. It will take all my strength to do that, if I even can. I gather my breath and put everything into the action, straining to set us down gently on the ground.
Nobody sees, and it seems I cannot impress Vera with the feat. | Next: Swimming in Garbage |
