Rare TP Sale and Stolen TruckfritzDec 7, 2022

It's late at night, and I'm in a store that feels like it's on Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway, on the eastern part, where there used to be an import store. But the store is some big-name store, like Wal-Mart. They had a big sale on some kind of paper goods, like TP or paper towels, which are apparently in shortage, and everybody is looking for them. I think I'm not desperate for these goods, it's more like I came there just to see what was up, and I'd buy some if I could.

At the aisle where such goods were located, all the shelves are bare, and scattered around the floor and blankets and things like some people were camping out waiting for the goods to arrive. So, no wonder they are all gone, and there is no hope of getting any. I seem to have already picked up some other small item, something pencil-shaped, which I'm carrying around with the intention of buying while I'm there.

Then, over the aisle shelves, I see somebody - I think it's my ex-wife Natasha, but also sharing some characteristics with my other ex-wife Misha. She's driving some sort of little tractor, towing a trailer piled high with paper goods. I see her and we talk briefly, she explaining what you have to do to get some, me saying it doesn't sound like it's worth the effort, I shouldn't have come here. I set down the other item I'm carrying; it's not even worth the effort to go through the checkstand.

Back outside in the dark, I go to where I had parked, but my truck isn't there. It's just gone, it's been stolen. I talk to a security guard and a store employee, and to Natasha who is also there. I am wondering, should I call the police or what? The general opinion is sure, you can do that if you want, but it's basically pointless. Truck is gone, you'll probably never see it again. At first I'm shaken by this but then I'm like "oh well, it wasn't that expensive, I guess I'll get a new one."
