Outside my house, I notice that the river has overflowed, and a wide torrent of water is headed toward the house (there doesn't seem to be a garage in this picture, which exists in reality). I run inside to find some rubber dams that I keep around for this purpose, but the rooms are confusing; the storage room where I keep these things is a large empty room. Vera is there, and I quickly tell her that it's flooding but the I go into my den and see the puddle spreading quickly. It's too late for dams, I need to start lifting things to get them out of the path of the water. There is a box under the table (as in real life) that is definitely wet already.
